Pittsburgh and points north: I-79S to I-68E to US Rt. 219S. Go approximately 30 miles, through Oakland, MD. Stay on US Rt. 219S 8 more miles to US Rt. 50 (blinking light at Red House, MD). Turn Right on US Rt. 50 and go 5 miles to Brookside on your left.

Washington/Baltimore and points east: I-270W or I-70W through Frederick MD. Take I-68W (past Hancock, MD) to US Rt. 219S. Go approximately 30 miles, through Oakland, MD. Stay on US Rt. 219S 8 more miles to US Rt. 50 (blinking light at Red House, MD). Turn Right on US Rt. 50 and go 5 miles to Brookside on your left.

Charleston, WV: I-79N to US Rt. 33E towards Elkins. Follow 33 until it ends at US Rt. 219N. Take US Rt. 219N to US Rt. 50 (blinking light at Red House, MD). Turn Left on US Rt. 50 and go 5 miles to Brookside on your left.

Richmond, VA and central/western Virginia: I-95N to US Rt. 17W to I-66W to I-81N to Winchester. Take 37N to US Rt. 50W to Aurora and Brookside Inn on your left.

Central Ohio and points west: Take US Rt. 50E to Aurora and Brookside Inn on your right. (This is a wild mountain road, well worth the drive due to its vistas but not recommended for the faint of heart. An alternative is to take US Rt. 50E to I-79N to I-68E and follow the Pittsburgh directions.)
